A mathematical model to calculate pollution of the Rivers Dnipro and Samara after an emergency discharge of a pollutant has been developed. The model is based on 2D equations of annual river hydraulics and the impurity transfer equation. The results of numeral simulation of pollution of the rivers’ area after derailment of railtanks from the bridge are presented.
