Abstract

Investigations of the substructure of cold-rolled low-carbon steels have shown that after 20 % pressurization the already big volumes of ferrite have periodic dislocation structures similar to dislocation cells. After two to four alternating bending cycles, an increase in the homogeneity of distribution of ferrite micro-hardness can be observed, along with a decrease of homogeneity of distribution of dislocations inside individual cells.
