An energy-modeling technique for studying theoretical possibilities of stabilization of electrodynamic levitation systems has been presented. Based on the generally accepted mathematical assumptions, the effect of selfstabilization of vertical oscillations of the on-board magnet has been examined. The authors have demonstrated that dependence of the residual energy on the weight of the magnet allows minimizing the energy with the use of constructive methods. The derived results are of a practical significance.
