This article is devoted to the problems of discrepancy between the content of the higher IT-education and requirements and expectations of employers in IT- sphere. The problem is worked out in detail in its different manifestations, and some ways to improve existing situation are proposed. Article also represents the description of informational portal dedicated to the higher and complementary education and also job placement as one of the elements of resolving existing problems.
