Results of research of the brake disk heating temperature under the brake shoe lining during the regulating braking of a passenger train are presented. It is established that the greatest temperature in the disk arises at an exit of a brake shoe lining on a direction of the wheel pair rotation, and its value depends on pressure in the brake cylinder (correlation factor 0.556) and braking time (correlation factor 0.331), the correlation factor for speed in the beginning of regulating braking was equal to 0.135.
