EDITORS RESPONSIBILITIES

Decision on publication

The editorial board is responsible for the materials published in the journal.

All materials, after preliminary evaluation by the editor, undergo independent anonymous double-blind peer review. The editorial board of NPT ensures the confidentiality and impartiality of the review process.

The editorial board of NPT undertakes to provide the author with reviewers who perform their duties of reviewing the article in a timely and impartial manner, are not financially interested in the research, and do not represent the interests of a competing organization.

The editorial board of NPT does not influence the decisions of reviewers.

In the event of positive and negative reviews of the manuscript, the Editor-in-Chief appoints an additional reviewer. Negative reviews are considered by the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final decision.

In the event of rejection of the manuscript, the Editorial Board reserves the right not to enter into discussion with the authors.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse, after preliminary review, to submit materials for review in case of incorrect formatting of the manuscript, non-compliance with basic scientific criteria, subject matter of the publication, plagiarism, republication, etc.

Impartiality

The Editorial Board of NPT evaluates materials based on their content and scientific value, regardless of the author's age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious and political views, origin, or citizenship.

Confidentiality

The editorial board of NPT limits the confidentiality of the publication process to the following circle: the Author, Reviewers, members of the Editorial Board, the Publisher, and, if necessary, scientific consultants.

The editorial board of NPT guarantees the protection of unpublished data received from the Author in the process of preparing for publication.

Disclosure and conflict of interest policy

The NPT editor-in-chief recuses himself from reviewing materials in the event of a conflict of interest due to competition, collaboration, or other relationships with the Author or organizations related to the materials.

The NPT publishes information about financial support for research.

Supervision of publications

The editorial board of the journal constantly monitors compliance with publication ethics at all stages of the editorial and publishing process. In case of violations (plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplication of publications, incorrect authorship, conflict of interest), the editorial board is guided by international ethical standards and its own response procedures.

Complaints and reports of possible violations are considered confidentially, impartially, and within a reasonable time frame. Based on the results of the review, appropriate measures may be taken, including: requesting explanations from the authors, publishing corrections or retracting the article, and informing interested parties.

The editorial board ensures transparency of decisions and keeps documentation on ethical cases in order to maintain academic integrity and trust in the journal.

In case of disputes, the Editorial Board of the Journal acts in accordance with COPE guidelines on publication ethics violations: https://publicationethics.org
